Wista Workshop

We jammed with Johnathan on the wista workshop which was rad, st mary's island is a real hot spot for nice lines & practicing composition with the wista's,  I was really hyped to see the shots from the day, but unfortunetly something happened with my wista & the negatives fogged, we couldn't work out why.

So I got a wista out again & went to reshoot the area on my own.

Find it so much more relaxing on my own, can concentrate more & dont feel so rushed, Thankfully the negatives came out fine and also on the same camera, so not so sure what happened.

Tech spec:

Wista 5x4 Camera
Kodak Portra 160 film
150mm Scneider lens
Loop
Cloth
Tripod

The first photograph was Slightly tilted up, which was unfortunate, but its my first attempt & have so much to learn, so I will reshoot it soon.

the second shot im pretty stoked with, found it quiet interesting having a work yard in the front of what looks like fresh new houses. I think a really nice series could be made of this area, but I think everyone is thinking the same, so Im going to avoid it for my next series of images but might make a person project at somepoint.
