Getting organised

had our environmental interview with Jonathan, very helpful but I feel like i'm back at square one. my pastiche is wrong, so I have to wait until monday till I can try and get a camera as theres no way i'm shooting it on digital, then I have to find a location and try get it printed and framed before thursday.

I broke my environmental project down too - traces of human in the landscape.

all about distance places that have small traces of a person that have been and had effect or just left something behind.

Im shooting all 3 images at a canal I found that leads from the chalk pits, I went exploring there the other day and have had a nice idea for an image. then i'll have to explore the same area a bit longer to see if I can find anything else.

grabbed a couple of books, one by Jem Southam who has a few nice images that help me along the way.
plus a book by anthony Hernandez who photographs Landscapes for the homeless, its a series of image from sleeping places and other places that the homeless have set up to live.

really hope I can get it all done by thursday, going to do a piece of writing today about my idea's ect.

also put some prints into packaging that I want to get framed tomorrow and hopefully the rest will follow on wednesday, fingerscrossed.

Things organised for monday.

This is 2 prints, 1 is gloss & 1 is pearl, I actually preffer the gloss, it seems to jump out the page more.

plus the print of my dads hat. still decided on gloss or pearl.

So I need to shoot 2 more images at the location I chose, got a few idea's, went there the other day & managed to get bitten by something of which I have no idea what it was, but it took me to the doctors.

really was stoked with finding the location just through a fence, was like walking into another world.
I feel the tyre on the right gives the impression of human inpact, vandalism, bordem, secret play area.

got alot to do, gonna get on with it.
