The light metre was then introduced to us, most fascinating bit of kit, iv'e always used a range finder camera as a range finder as iv'e not had the money to get my hands on one, but I will definitely be investing.
We then went onto studio practice, how to set up lighting, foam boards, lighting stands, tables, tripods, ect and the health and safety behind it.
After this we had an introduction to the medium format camera.
Really cool to look into the rz67, always wanted to shoot with one before, so was a lot of fun.
we shot in b&w using ilford delta 100 iso.
we was then put into action, photographing a piece of wire wool we formed into lots of different shapes. using the light metre to test different depths & shutter speeds, over & under exposing to see what our turns outs will be.
we recorded each frame, our choice of settings, to then compare after what where the best choices.
was a really good knowledgeable day.
